Hello All
Hope everyone is doing good
Recent times , have encounter the below issue reported by one of the VIP users and her status showing as Available , Out of Office or Busy Out of Office, however she is not set the out of office either in outlook , owa or in Microsoft Teams.
Teams refuses to stop showing out of office even reset the presence in Teams on web, Teams client.
Turn on/off Don’t send automatic replies. Go to Outlook Web App. Click the gear button. Now, tick the option that says "Don't send automatic replies" and click Save.
Change your status in Teams manually by clicking on her profile picture in the top right corner of Teams and selecting "Set status message". we then select "Available" or any other status .

Nothing helped us and no luck
Resolution :
How can I remove the “out of office” Teams’ status?
If someone sends you a calendar invite with date ranges from today until the future with Out of Office selected [Screenshot Below] , or if you create future Out of Office appointments, then Teams is somehow changing the status.
The easiest fix is to check if any invitation is mentioned as Out of Office. If you find such an invitation, then remove it from your calendar
See the behaviour more technically on the link below
I hope this helps for everyone for Teams presence issue for out of office. Happy Learning 😃
