Outlook freezes in loading screen....Outlook 2016 not connecting for Exchange 2016 server

 Hello All

One of the recent hybrid exchange 2016. users in on-premise mailbox servers were unable to connect their mailbox through outlook 2016 alone. OWA is just fine.

Issue is Outlook 2016 unable to find the SCP C information through auto discover service to configure the outlook profile automatically 

Its neither outlook nor windows profile related issue as it impacted all the users in exchange 2016 servers and IPV6 already disabled. 

 Added the autodiscover entry in one of the affected client PC host file, Tried to manually configured the outlook profile. it reached exchange server but not connected. [trying to connect] for a long time

Looks the autodiscover was missing / misconfigured from the external DNS - Go daddy

Resolution

Sign in to the account where the domain is registered and found the auto discover was misconfigured

Enter the following details and outlook started working as expected

After few minutes the changes got effected in external DNS, outlook started working and connected
